New glasses

I was having trouble with the new pair of glasses I had gotten about two months ago. The right lens didn't focus quite right and I got sick of the larger lenses style that I have been wearing for about the past three years. So, I swapped them for a new pair of glasses with smaller lenses. My right eye feels better now.

Alas, Evelyn is also having problems with her glasses. In her case, the lenses seem fine, but the one side of the frame appears defective. (It makes this clunking sound and the whole earpiece pops to the right. And she handn't even slept on them.)

Of course, my $500 designer pair from 2 years ago: both earpads hurt ears, fell out, and had to be ground down with a dremel. Both nosepieces plastic broken off, repaired with superglue. Coating dotting and fogging, finally removed with harsh chemical, but only after I had experimented with a Dremel and left a big blur on one lens.

I hate glasses. But I hate contacts more. And I hate eye surgery more than both combined.

Yeap, not even a week went by that my one pair of glasses started to act up. I can't wait to be back to go there and have them fixed. I'm upset at this situation. If there was a way to natural strengthen my eyes I would do it.
